WelcomeTo The South Arkansas Chapter

The mission of the American Red Cross, an organization built upon the unwavering spirit of the American people, has always been to help people help themselves.

The willingness of the people of the American Red Cross to accept the challenges confronting a fast changing society has brought about an explosion of social services from disaster relief to blood services, from first aid programs to swimming lessons to assistance programs for the elderly to HIV/AIDS education. We are an organization that is always prepared, yet constantly reviewing the needs of the community and seeking innovative ways to meet them.

March Is Red Cross Month!

The South Arkansas Chapter of the American Red Cross is celebrating Red Cross Month this March by giving thanks to the thousands of people in the South Arkansas  Community who have personified America's humanitarian spirit by donating their time, money, and blood during the last year.  America has always been a place of humanitarian action and compassion: A place where people take care of each other whether they are down the block or around the globe.  Putting compassion into action is deeply rooted in the American character and the people of our surrounding counties are no exception.
